Austin takes the personal approach to customer relations by making in-person visits, taking every call and offering customized solutions by conducting security and waste audits.

After five years of document destruction experience, Austin knows the ins and outs of shredding. He says Balcones Shred is uniquely equipped to handle all of its customers’ waste material needs.

What was your childhood nickname?

60/40. We’ll just leave it at that.

First car/Dream Car

My first car was a 1986 4X4 Toyota pick-up. It had no AC but it ran perfectly.
A Tesla would be my dream car because I like anything electric.

What celebrity would you most like to meet and why?

Bear Grylls, because he is a certified whack job.

What grocery item do you always buy but never eat before it goes bad or expires?

We don’t waste food in my house.

Outside of the Balcones Shred team, whom do you most enjoy spending time with?

I most enjoy spending time with my wife, Kaelin.

Where do you go to get away from it all?

I navigate Austin’s greenbelt to go hiking or walking seven days a week. That’s how I unwind.
